Privacy Policy

What personal data Wedylearn collects, why, and your rights.

Last updated: July 28, 2026

This policy explains what personal data Wedylearn (wedylearn.com) collects, why, and what rights you have. We keep it short and honest.

What we collect

  • Account data: your email address, and a display name if you add one.
  • Purchase data: which products you bought, order identifiers, and purchase dates. Card details are processed by our payment partner and never touch our servers.
  • Learning data: lesson completion and course progress, used to run your library, track progress, and issue certificates.
  • Certificate data: the full name you choose to print on a certificate and its verification ID.
  • Technical data: basic logs (IP address, browser type) needed to keep the service secure.

What we do NOT do

We don't sell your data. We don't run third-party advertising. We don't send marketing emails without your consent.

Why we process data (legal bases)

To deliver purchases and run your account (performance of contract); to send sign-in links, receipts and essential service emails (performance of contract); to keep the service secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interest); to comply with tax and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Who processes data for us

We use a small number of processors, each receiving only what they need: Lemon Squeezy / Stripe (payments, receipts, tax), Supabase (accounts, progress and entitlements database), Vercel (hosting), Sanity (site content — no customer data), Resend (transactional email delivery). Some processors are located outside the EEA; transfers are protected by standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards.

Retention

Account and learning data are kept while your account is active. Purchase records are kept as long as required by tax law. If you delete your account, we remove personal data not subject to legal retention within 30 days. Certificates and their public verification records are kept so that issued certificates remain verifiable; you can request their removal.

Your rights (GDPR)

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data; ask for a copy in a portable format; object to or restrict certain processing; and complain to your local data protection authority. Write to support@wedylearn.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only essential cookies: keeping you signed in and remembering basic preferences. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
